SolutionIt depends which daemons are you trying to start.
Run
unicntrl start all
should start all the agents and any event monitoring, then run unifstat to check what is running.
If you only want to start agents like the log agent then try
awservices start
and check the results with awservices status.

The daemons start with CA* -- /sbin/init.d/CA*

Afraid I don't know. I looked in the equivalent directory on my machine and the file in it looks like this
prw-rw---- 1 root sys 0 Jul 22 08:55 oprpipe0003
# file oprpipe0003
oprpipe0003: fifo
I would guess that something could not create or use this file.
