I installed os version september 2005 on a rp8420 server with the last patches and Onlinediag version :
OnlineDiag B.11.11.16.09 HPUX 11.11 Support Tools Bundle, Sep 2005
After the installation I tried to create a mirorr disk, but when I executed command "mkboot -b updatediaglif -p HPUX -p LABEL -p ISL -p AUTO /dev/dsk/c0t0d0" , I realized that there wasn't directory /usr/sbin/diag/lif .
Can somebody help me.
Thanks advance
Filo

Re: updatediaglif2 "not found on the system"
Sory I had not specify the OS version before; I installed OS Sep05 11.11 version1
HPUX11i-OE-MC B.11.11.0509 HP-UX Mission Critical Operating Environment Component
HPUXBase64 B.11.11 HP-UX 64-bit Base OS
I executed swverify command and the output is OK, there wasn't error or warning signallings.
Thanks

Re: updatediaglif2 "not found on the system"
-p will only work if those files were previously installed with a mkboot or via ignite
