Upgradeing software
I have multiple servers installed at various times, hence haveing different release dates of the 11i os. On the latest 11i os I have for example veritas 3.5, on an older version of 11i I have veritas 3.2. I have applied standard patch bundles to the older release but the subsystems do not get upgraded. How do I get these upgraded to the current levels using standard patching or software bundles without doing each subsystem one by one.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Upgradeing software
Hi:
The SupportPlus CD delivers patches which cover the "core" HP-UX domain -- "PHKL" for kernel filesets; "PHNE" for networking; "PHCO" for commands; and "PHSS" for general subsystem support.
For "applications" (MirrorDisk/UX, Glance, compilers, LAN cards, etc.) you need to utilize the Application CD/DVD sets.
Have a look here for the available versions of various entities here:

Re: Upgradeing software
Hi,
My feeling is that if you install patches from recent support Plus should be ok irrespective of the versions already installed
