urgent probleme

Hi everybody

I have a big probleme with my server hpux.
Whan I make a command, the server answer
"bash: fork: Ressource temporarily unavailable"

Do you know thats happens?

Hi,

What command are you using?

Does this error occur with all the commands?

check for nproc kernel parameter, you might need to increase this parameter.

Hi,

your system is out of swap space. Please post the output of swapinfo -tam, if you are able to login. Free up some process if you can and see if the situation improves.

Hi feuillet,

It seems your running out of memory, I suggest you tune your kernel parameter.

What is the value of dbc_min_pct and dbc_max_pct?
