We have to replace a disk attached to the va7100 array. i think it comes in 18g, 36g or 72g. Does anyone know what part# we have to order so that it can be accomodated into the array without issues?
Thanks
Joe

Solution
Hi,
go to http://partsurfer.hp.com
and search for va7100 as product.
This will list you all the partnumbers for the drives.
example:
A7288-69001 73GB hot-swap hard drive module - 15,000 RPM - (A7288A)
REQUIRES RETURN OF DEFECTIVE PART
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: VA7100 - disk replacement
Hi Joe,
Be careful with replacement parts, the VA7x00 will not support 73GB 15K RPM disk spindles and 146GB 10K RPM disk spindles. The valid part numbers you are looking for are:
A6191A - 18GB 15K RPM Disk
A6192A - 36GB 10K RPM Disk
A6193A - 36GB 15K RPM Disk
A6194A - 73GB 10K RPM Disk
Hope that helps,
Mike.
