/var/opt/perf/datafiles....

I was looking at document ID A5077795 in the knowledge base and had the following question...

If I want to leave Management Services running, can I safely /dev/null the logfiles in /var/opt/perf/datafiles on a regular basis?

Thanks,
Erik

Yes. The open file is not removed by doing a /dev/null.

Erik:

You can adjust how much data you keep, but modifying the parameters in /var/opt/perf/parm .

Your changes will take affect in the next normal maintenace run.
