VGExtend Error

System Specs:
Model: V2500
OS Version: HP-UX 11.11

Question:

I am trying to add alternate links to a group of EMC Symmetrix(DMX) disks belonging to a volume group (/dev/vg_q01usg_data_01) and it gives me the error below. Can you please assist of any possible cause of this problem?

Command issued :
vgextend /dev/vg_q01usg_data_01 /dev/dsk/c29t8d0 /dev/dsk/c29t8d1

Error
Physical volume "/dev/dsk/c29t8d0" is too small. Minimum size is 17860224 KB.

I even tried to add the disks one by one but it still gives the same error using a different disk on this particular VG only.

How big is the LUN (disk) that your trying to add?
# diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c29t8d0
# diskinfo /dev/rdsk/c29t8d1
Also, please post the output of vgdisplay -v /dev/vg_q01usg_data_01
Anyone for a Mutiny ?
