ABove statement go on making entries in the syslog.log. How to stop it from making entries in the system log.

Stop running the command perhaps?
You are doing something that involved the kernel. Important kernel information is logged in syslog.

Interesting..the command that you have mentioned should not make entries in the syslog file.
Are you using sudo or something ? can you post the entry in syslog.log ?
