Vmunix Error in Syslog

Does anybody know what the following message means and what parameters need to change?

vmunix: queue_packet: api read queue 858d080 is full: 1723:674953176

Thanks

Re: Vmunix Error in Syslog

Never seen that before and I did a itrc and google search. I couldn't find anything relevant. You might want to call hp if you have a support contract. Otherwise you can wait it out for a reply on the forums. Sorry I can't offer an explanation.
"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"

Re: Vmunix Error in Syslog

can you post your dmesg output and some of your syslog? maybe there are other messages that may help find out the issue.

Sorry didn't see this thread had activity.
The only reference I could find was with Samba. Samba on this server by chance?

Re: Vmunix Error in Syslog

This isn't a standard kernel message

Do you have any 3rd part software installed which might interfere with network stack? Such as a QoS packet scheduler or such?
