vue screen server
Hi all,
I did restore a C200 s700 series workstation after a boot disk failure using make_recovery tape.
After the reinstallation I face problem with vue screen server. I don't have the option to disable or edit the setting for screen server.
There were few other problems with files as well with there permission and ownerships and there are sorted already.
Can anyone help me out with this to resolve, is there any config file for vue.
Thanks
Nuwan.

Re: vue screen server
Assuming that you can get an ascii login on this workstation.
Start SAM(ascii mode) and check the items in the Display menu.
Regards,
Peter

Re: vue screen server
HP VUE stores its settings for each user under $HOME/.vue. In general, you can resolve some problems with permissions by logging out of VUE, deleting this directory structure for the user and logging back in. VUE will re-create the files it needs on the next login.
There is a system-wide tool that catches gross system-wide permissions problems affecting VUE called /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_vue.
