vxfsd

hi fellas,

I would like to know if this process displayed by glance is normal. Also the pid was duplicated(wierd).

92 vxfsd 37 0.0/ 0.0 0.5 8.8/ 0.0 138 SLEEP
93 vxfsd 37 0.0/ 0.0 0.7 8.8/ 0.0 138 SLEEP
94 vxfsd 37 0.0/ 0.0 0.9 8.8/ 0.0 138 SLEEP

Thanks,
joks

Re: vxfsd

Hi,

yes, this is normal, and it is also normal, that processes which are mixed together share one PID.

Allways stay on the bright side of life!

Re: vxfsd

What your looking at is the thread list - the vxfsd process contains many threads (on 10.20 you would see all these as individual processes, but with kernel threads on 11.x these were replaced with the single vxfsd process).

Steve
