VXVM problem
Hello,
today I installed gold pack June 2005, on my HPUX 11.11 vpar on superdome. I have there LVM and VXVM. After the reboot, VXVM lost almost all of it's disks :\
I looked in troubleshoot guide and issued "vxreattach" command, it helped. I returned all the disks and problem seemed to be resolved. VXVM just lost the DG configuration for some reason. So, before another reboot, I exported this DG and tried to import it back and again I got and error, that disks cannot be found and their "last known location" is cXtXdX.
Anyone got this error? Any ideas?
Thanx, Alex.

Re: VXVM problem
Well, the problem was partially solved.
It seems like some problem in Clariion configuration. For some reason VXVM thinks that the disks with same ID are not the same disk with alternate path, but a different disk. Gonna call EMC about it, but for now we removed all alternate paths from VXMV and now it's working ok.
Alex.
