Warning during backup
Hi Guys,
I got this when using make_tape_recovery on my system. May I know is this critical? and can I use the recovery tape?
* Testing pax for needed patch
WARNING: The version of pax on the system to be archived needs to be
patched with one of the following patches or newer ones. If you do not
load the pax patch some files will not be correctly archived
(See the Ignite-UX release notes for details):
System OS Patch needed
--------- ------------
10.01 PHCO_11975
10.10 PHCO_11976
10.20 PHCO_20388
10.30 PHCO_11978
11.00 PHCO_16885 or PHCO_20027
you can get patches over the web from the patch database
(http://itresourcecenter.hp.com) or directly from the FTP server
(ftp://us-ffs.external.hp.com).
In additional, what does this
"WARNING: list_expander returned a warning, please check the log file.
* Creating Archive Configuration " means?
Thank you.
Henry

Re: Warning during backup
Hi Henry,
You need to apply the 'pax' patches into your system as required by Ignite/UX.
Check this url below :
http://www.docs.hp.com/en/IUX/download.html#d0e282
The patch and it's dependencies are available at HP ITRC website (patch database) or directly from the FTP server.
Since the patch is required by Ignite/UX, it's better you run again the backup after applying the pax patch and it's dependencies.
Hope this information can help you.
Cheers,
AW
