what does this mean?

Hi all,
I found below erroe when I use command #>dmesg on the N4000 11.0
*************error MSG***************
btlan init: WARNING - Unable to setup Read/Write Prefetch lengths

System Console is on the Built-In Serial Interface

These look like normal erro messages when you net cards are not connected to lan cables.0/0 is your core io lan card and othes are pci net card which are not connected to anything.

And you are not usijng the GSP on lan , instead you are using local console.

If you search ITRC patches with keyword "prefetch" you'll get a list of patches and I suggest you take a look at that list. There is one that caught my attention ..
PHNE_25907 (s700_800 11.00 Built-in PCI 100BASE-T patch) and somewhere in the symptoms description it says ..
100bt: message logged "Unable to setup Read/Write Prefetch lengths"
..which is the exact message you're getting. This is just one patch that I've looked at. There may be more .. I suggest you install the relevant patches to get rid of this message. Make sure you got all the dependencies patches taken care of.
