will Nickel script affect the backup when it's on process???

will Nickel script affect the backup when it's on process???

Hi,i need to know whether collecting nickel report for a server which acts as a media agent and disk agent for backup and while backup's on progress will affect it(backup).

because i collected the nickel report when the backup is on progress and after sometime the backup and server got hanged with the server(rp5405) giving attention LED.pls clear my doubt.
