X25 interface

I have an X25 interface card (J2794A EISA 1-port card shown as HWP1870 in ioscan) and I would like to gu more than 64 Kbps.

Anybody knows the limit ? On docs.hp.com they say that 64 Kbps is the max with a V35 connection, but I heard about auto-négociation if the speed is superior.
