x25check
Hi,
On productional X25 adjecent nodes, i want to do a x25check. I get this:
/usr/sbin/x25check 1234567 -i i1p1 -n 3
X25CHECK (c) COPYRIGHT Hewlett-Packard Company 1988.
Test Starts on .. Fri Nov 8 14:49:39 2002
Initialization of the test...
Unable to Connect to Remote Node
VC_CLEAR Packet was received with
CAUSE 0 : DTE Originated
DIAG 131 : Cannot Interpret Diagnostic Code
The x121 number is normally without a countrycode. My country code is 204, but then i get this:
/usr/sbin/x25check 2041234567 -i i1p1 -n 3
X25CHECK (c) COPYRIGHT Hewlett-Packard Company 1988.
Test Starts on .. Fri Nov 8 14:50:34 2002
Initialization of the test...
Unable to Connect to Remote Node
VC_CLEAR Packet was received with
CAUSE 13 : Not Obtainable
DIAG 67 : Call Setup, Call Clearing or Registration Problem - Invalid Called Address
So... the first seems to be correct, but it fails nevertheless... what do i do wrong, or what do i not understand?

Re: x25check
The x.121 number i used the first time was okay and found, but it rejected my check. A leading 204 or 0 i should not use.
I found that our network (datanet) has 1900, where 1 is its dnic and 900 its areacode.
A x25check like descibed with 1900000 (3 extra 0 for address) returns me a succesfull setuptime of 188 ms and a transittime of 39ms.
Being able to access the network by use a specific cable is good enough for me.
Case closed. Regards,Ceesjan
