xhost problem
Hi
I have oracle applications on hp-ux 11i(hp9000 server) pdf reports need to set DISPLAY and disable the restriction to connect( xhost +)
every thing works fine. but after a period of time. the pdf reports ends with error. when I try again run xhost + from the console of the server error message (xhost: can't disable display "Fin01:0")
I noticed the system become very slow. and could not run any GUI utility like sam, clock from the console
please your help

Re: xhost problem
What error message you get when pdf report ends?? to set xhost command, you need to be root. xhosts + 10.12.23.30 will give X access for ip 10.12.23.30. Also what does following files say??
$HOME/.dt/errorlog
/var/dt/Xerrors
Anil
$HOME/.dt/errorlog
