It is the same question, isn't it?
> [...] iam not able [...]
Not a useful problem description. It does
not say what you did. It does not say what
happened when you did it.
> [...] xmanager(windows PC) [...]
Not a very detailed description of the
software on that system.

Re: xmanager
I have faced many issues related to the the connectivity using Xmanager, and rarely, few of them were similar, the issue (black screen), can occur due to more than one issue, so you need to check all the possibilities like
1) Does any firewalls in between
2) Does your xserver runnning?
3) Does it need some configuration to share xwindows.
4) does your /etc/hosts & nsswitch.conf have something to do with the issue. Put all necessary & correct entries here.
I didn't exactly remember, (as I faced it few years back) but few of those problems were mainly related to entries in /etc/hosts & /etc/nsswitch.conf
Thanks & Regards

Re: xmanager
To add to the above reply,
5) the issue can be with the need of environment variable DISPLAY
export DISPLAY=
Thanks & Regards

Re: xmanager
Adding to JGK, if in case you are connecting to the server from putty from a windows system, give the IP address of the windows system and not the HPUX server IP. Hope this helps. Remember, if you set the display variable incorrectly, even your sam TUI will behave strangely.
