xwindow navigation.
We are running 11.0 with pc clients thru xemulation. The xmotif apps work fine on unix box, but when published on PC we are not able to navigate between screens, not even by clicking on the title bar. I did find that Nclass box where the apps are residing does not have any Xmotif Patches.(swlist -l patch |grep -i xmotif)but it does have most of the xserver patches. These apps are 32 bit running on 64 bit os. Should i should be having xmotif 32 bit runtime patches OR 64 bit runtime? Please Help.
Regards
Brian.

Re: xwindow navigation.
Hi Brian,
Did you try to install terminal emulation sw on the PCs?
A good option is exced from hummingbird company:

Re: xwindow navigation.
We are using citrix metaframe on the unix box and ica client on the PC to launch the apps. No problem in that area
Thanks
Brian.

Re: xwindow navigation.
We uses all kind of 32bit and 64bit xmotif programs. I am not programmer so i can't tell anything about it. We uses exceed and it works great for all graphics.
When you setup exceed there is configuration and you have to setup pseudocolor to display major graphics.

Re: xwindow navigation.
I didn't read your post before I post.
Anyway. Our home users and some unix workstation also uses citrix.
we have citrix server on PC and citrix client on unix workstation. We run ica from unix workstation but we still uses exceed, which is install on citrix server. one instance for each user.

Re: xwindow navigation.
I am using vnc. It works pretty well, is free, is easy to
configure and the executable on the pc is small.
