ACU for Linux

Hi Guys,
Has anyone installed HP Array Configuration Utility on Linux. I have a failed disk in my MSA and the rebuild is failed (MSA display). I want to install ACU and check for some detailed info. Can anyone tell me if I need a restart or reboot. This is our production server and a downtime will be pretty difficult.

For ACU alone, a restart is not required.

It is part of PSP which installs a new kernel which recommends a reboot, but a reboot can be avoided in this matter.

You should also install the hpscan utility from PSP as it will assist you in the diagnostic process.
