AD and Squid

Hi!

Do anybody here knows how to integrate Proxy squid and Windows Active Directory? I want to use the AD user authentication in order to access the squid proxy.

Hope you could help me on this.

Regards,

Re: AD and Squid

I believe squid uses regular system authentication. If so, this article will allow you to integrate your Linux box with your AD authentication.

Re: AD and Squid

The working way is to use windbind, quite poorly documented, but not that hard to set up. Look here :

Let us know if your trial doesn't work.

Hope it helps
