adding more fonts on cups printing?

I have redhat 3 ES print server, and have configured about 10 customized print queues. I don't have any choice on fonts. Right now it is printing very light, I need to make fonts bold. Any ideas?

I don't think printing "light" will be a font problem. You might try seeing if the printer head can be moved closer to the paper (there is usually a little lever).

The best drivers I have seen for cups are the gimp-print cups drivers. They look better on my printer than the windows drivers.

Re: adding more fonts on cups printing?

the problem is it selects default font, which
is Courier, instead of courier if I could make
*Font Courier-Bold: default then it should be OK. It is not a printer setting, because it prints in bold when job is send to that printer through different server. When I configure printer through redhat-printer-configuration, and edit the printer it does not give any options to select fonttype. is there a way to add more font there?
