After system reboot swapon -s shows no data

We are running RHEL 5 on a Proliant BL480C. This system rebooted itself this week-end for a reason I have yet to determine. Since this reboot and two others since then, I can not get any information on our swap space. When I do a 'swapon -s' all I get is a linefeed, no headers and no data. Prior to the weekend reboot, it showed swap space on LogVol01, LogVol02, LogVol03 and LogVol04 all in VolGroup00. How can I re-configure swap space?

Thanks,
Randy
