amanda backup.
Ok it looks like I am close to getting this amanda backup working. I can backup all my drives except sdb1 which is '/'.(root)
I keep getting an error saying the disk is maybe offline. Has anyone seen this before. Why does amanda not want to backup /.

Re: amanda backup.
Hi Robert,
It seems to me that what is worrying is the amandad busy message : it shows that you amanda process doesn't kill itself before processing another request.
Sounds stupid but... try rebooting before backing up... In fact, amanda is known to have this kind of 'non self killing' trouble, don't know why...
Hope it solves...
