backup system
Hello,
* We have 2 server HP9000,
server A whith one DLT4000
we want backup all data of server B to server A tape
How to do this ?
* It's possible we need to
restore one or few file later
whith this tape backup .
Should we use "fbackup" command ?

hi
first wrong forume for ur hp unix question.
u can use fbackup for the backups. you can restore specific files as well using fbackup. man fbackup / frestore for more details.

Hi there.
We use OmniBack to backup two N4000 servers.
We connected the boxes with a separate network cable ( crossover ), so that the backup traffic does not influence the data traffic.
If you want to use fbackup, you have to setup NFS file systems.
