Bandwidth limiting per user basis
hello
i heard abt CBQ , HTB, Iproute2 but can't understand how to use them. If any one knows & use any of them or others plz guide me to do this.

Re: Bandwidth limiting per user basis
Basically, you use iptables rules to analyse each packet, and determine which IP or MAC it goes to or from. On this basis, you decide to let the packet pass, drop it, or quench, (slow down connection speed). In that manner, you can, on a given bandwith, decide to allocate more or less band tpo each or each.
