blinking hideen file

I created a symbolic for the home directory to a separate partition for purposes of avoiding user's crashing the box. I notice in the user's home directory the following file which is hi-lighted in red and continually blinks.
.DCOPserver_myserver.xxx.xxx.xx with a symbolic link to the new home directory. Should I be concerned?

No, don't be concerned. A flashing red item stands for an ophaned symbolic link. I have the same thing on my box. It is an internal function for KDE. Type "man DCOP" to lear more.
