1. Sendmail (using Ldap) Installation, configuration, backup, Troubleshooting
2. CVS Installation, configuration, Trouble shooting, Backup.
3. DNS, DHCP Wins Installation Configuration, Trouble shooting.
4. IP Chain Firewall Installation Configuration , troubel shooting.
5. Basics of Linux user creation, deletion, configuration.
6. Configuration of various Hardware Devices
7. Configuring Web Services , FTP Services.
8. Configuring VPN through Linus.
9. General Installation & Configuration of Linux , Kernal Modules, Partationing etc stuffs.
If possible all the contents in a single book or if atleast in two books.

First make sure that you read
Many simple configuration things are there.

Then, the trouble is on VPN, which is quite specific. Once more, the Internet is full of resources on that.
I read 'Red Hat Linux Networking and system administration' (ISBN 0-7645-3632-X), from Red Hat, quite a good basis for all you require...

I do suggest to check out the O'Reilly books
(www.oreilly.com). I generally found them well written. They might have something for your spedific distribution, else e.g. the essential system administration book is a good start.

It can be found at amazon.com and other good tech book sites.
The book comes with a Linux Distribution, which is nice.
I would advise against using ipchain firewall, its obsolete. The book covers both ipchains and iptables. iptables is more secure because its getting updates, ipchains is a dead end product.
I also recommend a search of itrc, there are good threads and topics right in here.
