broad band connection

hai friends


i am the new user for itrc site. i am very happy to join with u all. my question is how to configure the broad band connection(bsnl 512 kbps) in Redhat EL4.

In my system have two ethernet card one for my lan connection another one is broad band connection. assigning ip both the lan and bsnl modems. hence i try to browse the net get an error message.

I suggest you try assigning the IP address to one or the other. Two devices certainly can not have the IP address.

Most ISP's provide some guidance on this.

After that issue is resolved there is a menu on the Linux GUI System tools or systems settings that will let you do the rest.
