Cannot install PSP on RHEL 3 (ESX 3)
I've downloaded the psp v7.70 for RHEL 3 but when trying to install it get the following error:
"Unable to create a temporary working directory in'/tmp' please verify or set '/tmp' for proper permissions"
This is how I tried to install it
mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /dev
./install770.sh --nui
I don't want to start changing permissions as I don't know enough about linux. Can anyone help?

Re: Cannot install PSP on RHEL 3 (ESX 3)
Hi Chris,
What operating system are you trying to install the PSP on ??
VMware ESX server is NOT Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
The service console in ESX server may look like Linux, but don't fall into the trap of thinking that it is.
Cheers,
Rob
