Change password

I want to check the user last change password date , but I use "chage -l userid" , it is

#chage -l userid
Minimum: 0
Maximum: 99999
Warning: 7
Inactive: -1
Last Change: Never
Password Expires: Never
Password Inactive: Never
Account Expires: Never

Moreover , in the /etc/shadow , the entry is

userid:$1$SwxxSLy/G$49wi89P4g2zNROjert/CX.:0:0:99999:7:::

the last change password field is 0 , can advise except these two ways , how can I check it ? thx.

Re: Change password

Shalom,

Some distributions support passwd -sa reporting or passwd reporting that will lset you see the information you desire.

You seem to have enough information for an automated report run by cron.
