change "from" field sendmail

hi,

i am writing a script to automate reminder email send to client and his manager.
i want to sent email with named as our "group DL" in outlook (say team@company.com). for that i have created user "team" in one of our linux machine but when i am sending email it comes as "team@servername.company.com". I want it to be like "team@company.com" so if client reply it comes to our outlook.

Can anybody help me with all the details.
