Compaq Deskpro EN SFF P866
Had to reset the Bios using the button on the motherboard for reset. Everything seemed to go OK. However, now the boot order is not followed. It wants to try and boot from a network before the hard disk. Yes, I have checked, double checked, triple checked the boot order within the bios and the order is as follows:
1. Floppy Drive
2. CD Rom drive
3. Hard Drive
4. Network
I have switched things around by moving the hard drive up in order but it does not help. Now, it also after trying to boot to the network, will say operating system not found on network, it then will boot normally using the hard drive!
Help! Prior to the reset it booted from the HD fine. Had to reset the Bios after putting in some new memory chips. New memory is online and OK by the way.
Thanks!
