Hi Christopher,

It's complex work. At first, you need to understand what is ldap and how to works. Open following URL to study and install it. Good luck.

Re: Configure LDAP

I've made a number of attempts to try and configure apache to authenticate users against a Windows Active Directory without success. Does anyone have a working example?

Re: Configure LDAP

Once you've setup your new directory as in OpenLdap try installing a garphical admin tool to make things easier.
I use ldapbrowser: http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/~gawor/ldap/
Its a Java based tool and so installs on just about anything.

Install â jre-1_5_0_01-linux-i586-rpm.binâ and â ldapbrowserâ cd to the â ldapbrowserâ directory and run lbe.sh.

I'm still struggling with the ldap user login authentication so any info you have wou
