I have a squid proxy server, running smoothly (OS redhat enterprise Linux 5).
I want to control & assign bandwidth based on preferably system IP or user. (In-built squid band-width control)
Please help me giving step by step configuration. Your cooperation will be highly appreciated in this regards.

Squid can not manage bandwidth.
I've tried a few tools to manage it on a firewall and found them less than effective.
