Could SLI work under Red Hat Linux WS 3 64-bit?
when I surf www.hp.com, I saw a workstation configuration like this:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/q.../12186_na.HTML
------------------------------------------
xw9300 Workstation/OC2.4/C74/
D1.0/V/S/M
PU413UA#ABA
Processor 2.4GHz AMD Opteron 250
Operating System Red Hat Linux WS 3, 64-bit
Cache Memory 1 MB L2
Memory 1 GB (2 x 512 MB) DDR-400 ECC reg
Optical Drive 48X DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo
Hard Drive 74-GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (10,000 rpm)
Graphics Not included in base configuration - graphics card options should be ordered separately - they are listed below:
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 280 PCIe (64 MB, VGA & DVI)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 540 (128 MB)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 - SLI capable (128 MB)
NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 - SLI capable (256 MB)
Other Includes Floppy Drive, Standard PS/2 Keyboard, and Energy Star settings
---------------------------------------------------
is SLI still avaliable under Red Hat Linux WS 3, 64-bit with 2 FX3400s ?
is there any special requirement or manual configuration required to run SLI under RH WS3 64bit ? if so, how to config X server?
be eager to have the answer! thanks a lot!
