Date "in loop"
Hi,
I've got a "little" problem...
We have to HP TC4100 running Suse SLES with Kernel 2.4.18-64GB (SAP signed).
For keeping the time equal between the various boxes, we use xntpd.
Some times (after some days of normal operating ..) xntpd crashes and the system "falls" into a "time loop" ....
the time is running between x and x+3
for example: now it is 17:45:00 then 17:45:01 then 17:45:02 then 17:45:03 then 17:45:00 and so on ....
setting the date does not help. the loop is proceeding eith the new time.
starting the xntpd again does not help either ...
does anybody got an idea ??
thanks
armin

Re: Date "in loop"
Hi,
maybe you should install a new xntpd - I think there is the problem...
