Hey Guys;
I picked up an HP w2207h flat screen monitor for my ancient Linux system.
The documentation says that there are some limited codes you can use to control the monitor.
Does anyone know where I can find these codes?
I'd like to be able to dim the screen when I'm not using it, and if possible, switch the different view modes on the fly instead of playing with the panel buttons.
regards,
tonyp

You could use the ddccontrol command to inquire the supported codes. Someone posted the result of that at http://www.nabble.com/output-ddccontrol-for-HP-w2207h-td18385390.html
The ddccontrol command is in the debian/ubuntu ddccontrol package. Or you can get it from http://ddccontrol.sourceforge.net/

Re: DDC /CI Support Codes
Hi Mike;
Thanx for the information - that's what I was looking for.
'Course when I ran ./configure it errored out saying that I don't have the gtk package installed.
:-/
