difficulty SUSE 7 install

hello all
i have a new proliant ml530 that i'm trying to install SUSE. the problem i'm getting that it keeps erroring out during creation of LVM, i think because i'm using old cciss modules/drivers on the CD. i tried updating the module via floppy accdg to instructions on

but it doesn't work. i guess the better statement would be i don't know at what point the install loads the newer modules
any assistance would be appreciated.

Try SuSE 8 Pro. It has better LVM.
