Re: Disk Druid

You don't have access to disk druid after the installation.

You must use fdisk or parted command line utilities to modify disk partitions.

You can download and install qparted if you want a GUI for disk management.

You can use system-config-lvm to modify LVM configuration from the GUI.

Re: Disk Druid

Shalom Cliff,

Its install time only.

I don't know why they didn't include it.

You'll need to use fdisk

Re: Disk Druid

Hi,

i think Disk Druid is posible only during installation.. if u need to make any changes in partition, u need to go for fdisk command..

#fdisk /dev/hda (or hdb , sda etc)

if u modify any existing partition, make sure u the new partition should be greater then the previous partition.. or ealse u may face kernel panick...

cheers

Re: Disk Druid

I use "parted" for all disk partition manipulation.

parted /dev/sda print

or
# parted
parted>help
parted>use /dev/sda
parted>print
