disk failure + linux question

I am getting this message on a DL585 G1 running RHEL4. How do I know which disk device it is that has actually failed?

Trap-ID=3046

Physical Drive Status Change: Slot 0 SCSI Bus 1 Target 1.
Status is now Failed.

Re: disk failure + linux question

Shalom,

Look at the server.

One will be marked like this:

Physical Drive Status Change: Slot 0 SCSI Bus 1 Target 1.

It should also have a nasty looking orange light on it.

1) Go to hpasm page (https://your_server_ip:2381
See if you have errors for this disk

2) Check DL585 (G1..) user guide, you have there front view of disks (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Home.jsp?〈=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3219717〈=en&cc=us)
