diskdump - halt ??

I am testing a diskdump on RHEL 4, I ran
echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger, from the ILO, I could see the dump proceed, however, at the end of the dump it shows

dumping memory(partial dump with dump_level 19)..
16776685(1963220 saved 14813485 skipped)/16776685
<6>disk_dump: diskdump succeeded
<0>halt

I would expect the server reboots, why did it halt?
