DL560 G2 with RHAT Linux AS v4.0 crashes on backup
We have a DL560 that we upgraded from the 2.4 to the 2.6 kernel, ie, REDHAT AS 3.0 to 4.0.
Upon finishing, for some reason it is impossible to backup this machine using Veritas Netbackup Enterprise Server v6.0 mp2.
Everytime the backup job starts the dl560 crashes, a core dump occurs, and the system restarts.
Please help us in troubleshooting this. I have attached some info one could use to debug the problem.

Shalom,
Have you installed an update to Veritas Netbackup. One is required I believe when doing this upgrade.

Hi Shalom,
yes we are running the latest Veritas software v6.0 MP2 which supports the RedHAt 4 2.6 kernel.

Agree with Steven - I think, you should re-install Veritas agent.
