Double-Side printing on redhat 7.3

Hi,

How to use double-side printing with
redhat 7.3 ?
(It's ok under hpux11 to the same Laserjet 8000 :
lp -dprinter -ovd filename )

My standard reply to these questions is often unhelpful but doesn't change the fact that you should use "cups" as your print spooler. It is so easy to do this kind of thing. You can even click on the "use double sided printing" button.

Somebody else will give you a betetr response but I really strongly suggest you look into cups.
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

I use cups ( as Mark say's ) and I have a Deskjet 990Cxi that print Double sides I now run RH 9.0 but his worked under 7.2 to

If I remember well under 7.2 and on a character terminal as root do

#setup

from there select printer configuration and follow instructions

at one point you should see your driver and in there you should be able to set double side on long edge

There is also a gui set up in systems tools

some time you have to get the last driver version from HP.

Use mpage command,
