DVD oracle
i have one server with a regular CDROM and one server with a DVD CDROM. Oracle latest DB software only comes with DVD format and I need to install DB on other server .
i tried to mount the DVD , and copy files from DVD to local directory , but it doesnt work , tried to NFS ,also it doesnt work
It would be appreciated if someone recommend any option, like nfs, and how.
Thanks.

Re: DVD oracle
Shalom,
An NFS install will work just fine. You can do an NFS share on the DVD and should be able to mount it and install.
Please post your procedure if this does not work.
If that won't work for some reason you can download the release from http://technet.oracle.com or one of the other Oracle sites and install from the unzipped binaries.
