I am a new bee to HP Unix.
I am facing one problem during booting in my D-class 380 server running Hp Unix 10.20.
During starting it is showing "/sbin/auto_parms, searching for DHCP server" and get stopped processing for more then 10 minutes and then start loading the remaining services.
I checked the netconf file.DHCP is disabled.I am not using any DHCP server.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: Error message during booting
I believe that hitting control-\ would cause that mount to be skipped.

Re: Error message during booting
Thanks to Bill Hassell.
I found that one scsi hdd is giving that problem.
I reformatted the hdd (after taking the vg backup) using 'mediainit' and then restored the data.
Now it is working ok.
We are not using nfs.
Thanks for everybody for replying me.
Regards,
C.Sacthivel
