Error messages

I have renewly installed a RH server , now it is very strange that one of user id will receive the system error messages ( the messages is the same as /var/log/messages ) , the user use the telnet to connect the server , and the messages will be pop to the user screen at around every 10 minuts , could suggest what is the problem ? thx

That is rather odd.

Three things:
What TTY is the user logged in on?
What user ID is the user?
What does '/etc/syslog.conf' say?
One long-haired git at your service...

Has the console been transferred to another TTY?

There are messages that goes to all users, or configured to show on a users session. You should post your /etc/syslogd.conf.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
