Re: evolution> MAIL FROM command failed: Unknown
1- Ask to your administrator (or you if you can) to check the /var/log/maillog of the mail server. There should be logged the SMTP transaction and the reason of the failure.
2- What is the exact account configuration for the SMTP server?
3- That is the only information that you get?

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Thanks Dear Ivan for help

Ok I'll will ask the Mail Admin for the issue
>2- What is the exact account configuration for the SMTP server?
I am sorry, I didnt get you, the information I have provided, to confgure the client, was almost usuall/normall/typical, i.e smtp server ip, pop server ip, and the email-id/passwd. But I am pretty sure, the mail server is Novel GroupWise 7.
>3- That is the only information that you get?
Yes
regards
