fdisk help needed
hi ..this is manab..need some help hrom u people..
I installed RHEL4 2nd(64 bit) edition oon my HCL global line server.I left some unused space of my HDD for later used....but when i created new partition named /dev/sda13 (ext3) and mounted it in /linux4 named folder ..though it mounted.. but it shows as removeable media ...in my my GNOME desktop and when I opened computer icon...
Cant make any idea....

hi i m sending herewith the output of cat /prob/partition command. My problem is that I got two removable media device icon for the partition /dev/sda13 and /dev/sda14 in my GNOME desktop...

Did you configure the new partition in /etc/fstab?
If the partition is not described in /etc/fstab, the desktop may assume it is not intended to be a permanent mounting, so it will display it as a removable media.
